Sienna Blanca Design, Inc. It would be a welcome surprise...your home does not have to match the style of the inside. The unexpected can be very alluring. Go for it.
When designer Shelly Amoroso first arrived at this San Francisco row house, no one had pulled a construction permit for it since the 1920s, and it had fallen into quite a state of disrepair. She added light as much as possible, including the bright white exterior trim, an uncommon choice in San Francisco.
Sometimes inspiration for an exterior is already there, you just have to uncover it. Original detailing like this just needs to be restored and refreshed.
We looked at this house when it was for sale in 2009. I didn't like how they did the interior at all - too modern. The facade and interior did not work together at all for me. I don't like their exterior stairs (too bulky) and I think that there is too much white in the paint job. It would be nicer to have more colors. I do like the look of the garage door though and I like the color gray that they used.
I'm thinking that the color of this house would be good for the outer window trim, with black on the inner window trim.
Also, this house is so traditionaly Victorian and then it has a PURPLE DOOR! I love it.
