Cabinets on both sides - Do you think these cabinets on both sides of the tub would be too much? I have a window in the middle and thinking of putting cabinets on both sides of the window »
geo55 No, I don't think it would be too much. You have a long expanse of tub, floor, and countertop to balance it out. Plus, I'd like to see the symmetry.
still cant figure out the marble color of the vanity and tub surround :( i looked at crema marfil and french vanilla but neither really look like this. does anyone know what it could be? »
abroker This could be Winter Cloud but it does look too uniform for it. So I would suggest calling the designer to see if they would divulge what it is.
I absolutely love the tile and the shiny border/lisello tile on the floor. What type of tile is it? Is it glass or just very polished porcelain? Thank you. »
Lovely bathroom. I'm remodeling my home and plan to do my master bathroom vanity in an expresso color, but with carera marble floor, counter top and shower. Any thoughts on that look? Also, I plan to put white panels down half the wall, if space allows. What color should the tub panels be, white or expresso? Thank you »
Rebekah Zaveloff If you panel the walls with white paneling then I'd do the tub panel white and let the vanity stand on it's own like a furniture piece.
LOVE this bathroom! My husband and I are about to remodel our master bath and would love to replicate this look, except we would put the shower where the water closet is in this bathroom. From this picture, though, it is difficult to tell what the dimensions of the space are. Can anyone help? »
Ronique Gibson Most water closet enclosures are approx 3'x5' and the tub looks about 4'x6'. From this picture I think the entire bathroom is approx. 9'x 12'. (9' being the water closet window wall and 12' the tub wall.)
Since there is obviously more to the left cabinetry area, and tub end piece than this picture includes.
I would like to say - These photos are of no help to anyone if the actual material used on the floor, vanity top, etc is not listed. We need to know what is on the floor, around the tub etc. Otherwise, what good are these photos? »
Lily Gahagan Hi wannabdesigner, if you click on the green "More Info" link below the image above, you'll go to the photo page. Underneath the image there will be buttons to email the image and print it. I hope that helps!
Rebekah Zaveloff Those could very well be custom cabinetry. They look like an ebony stain on walnut. Woodmode cabinetry has a similar color on Cherry called Dark Lager. or an ebony on oak. Most stock cabinet companies don't carry walnut as standard species. Good luck!

Bathroom Resolution No. 1: I will give myself enough leg roomSeparate toilet rooms are highly sought after in new homes, as they add an element of privacy to a shared bath. The problem is, some builders don't factor in enough room in front of the toilet. You don't want to have to move your knees to close the door, or bump your feet into another fixture when you sit in your water closet.
counter and bath deck are the same stone. Coordinating colour on floor but different stone. Paneled bath balances out the dark wood on the other side of the room
