eco+historical Frederick

This 1922 Edwardian underwent an extensive rehabilitation in 2008-2009 to transform it from a pleasant but drab 3BR/2BA to a 4BR/4BA contemporary family home. The small original Kitchen lacked cabinet storage and utility and originally had a door to a fire escape down to the light well. The remodel removed the door and one window, added custom shaker cabinetry, a professional-style Bertazzoni range, hand made recycled-material field tile for the backsplash, paper-based Richlite counters and a fireclay sink.

New oak flooring was installed to match the original flooring throughout the rest of the home.
