I can't do a yellow black and white ideabook without including this bold shot!

Graphic faces: easily the most recognizable of Warholian elements. While the pop style is playful and fun, what it's paired with gives it new identity. Sure, this space is playful but overall, it's sexy. The introduction of black and limited bursts of canary yellow make it glamorous, not just punchy. Scared of black walls? Don't be! Believe it or not, it's a designer trick to make walls and/or ceiling recede, therefore taking the focus off square-footage-challenged rooms and onto the beautiful things in it.

This room is the chic version of Nina's batty mother's bi-polar portrait painting room. Barbara Hershey was a bit of brilliant casting, BTW!

The eyes have it. This is an interesting and well executed wall treatment and color choice. The bold face of the wall treatment and swirling pattern in the chairs work nicely against the bright yellow pillows, helping soften the high contrast patterns in this eye-catching style.

Kristy's choice 4: Graphic, "Pop" artK: I would put this on a totally white wall, in a room with lots of windows and light and super tall ceilings — think a converted warehouse apartment. That way, it isn't totally overpowering but is a stunning focal point. I wouldn't put it in a bedroom, though. I wouldn't want all those eyes looking at me as I fall asleep!
