Another question about table - I have had what looks like that exact table9 with 2 leaves at least for a very long time)it has been painted black, except for the leaves and looks to be solid mahogany. You pull it apart by pulling the square frame underneath. Do you have more info? Who is : Fieldstone Hill ? It is a neat table because you can use it as a sofa table folded up , and you can open folded flap on top and the square frame a little bit and have a small square table, or put all the leaves in and seat 12 for Thanksgiving Dinner! I can't tell you how many times my ex boyfriend tried to get this table away from me! No Way! I love it. Have used it as a dining table ,a sewing table, a side table and a sofa table. Also a garage sale table! I would appreciate any info. I am not sure f it has markings on it. would have to o look. »
michellet333 Thanks for getting back to me. And have no fear, I wasn't looking to purchase your table, I just hadn't seen another like mine since we acquired it and the Mahogany I was talking about was what I believed the wood of MY table to be and someone painted the table fleck but not the leaves. Not that I've had a second look and you mentioned red paint, I DID notice a difference in our tables right there where you paint it, mine does no have that cutout on the corners and the edges are kind of beveled wood ( like a mini wood staircase ) I believe mine is a one of a kind as well and I wouldn't sell it for the world. I would like to get it back to it's original stain to bring out the beauty of the wood! And YEAH I sure DID catch you! Shame on you!!! LOL! if I can locate a photo one day son I will show you.
Fieldstone Hill Design The window blinds are from Smith and Noble. I don't think they carry this fabric anymore, although we have been THRILLED with the quality of these blinds. We paid a bit extra to get the child safe version, and we are glad we did. Thanks!
