Good use of space. Consider similar in attic: -desk with tower shelf facing the work surface of the desk -"window" above desk that serves as an opening between 2 rooms, so both rooms get light and "openness" from each other - another possibility, (though our attic might not have the right configuration for it,) maybe we could have a large media screen (for TV and computer) on the desk. The screen could be visible from both rooms, and serve both rooms for viewing work and entertainment.
