This mid-century modern home was updated to last another 50 years. Although modest in size, the plan was intelligently reconfigured to accommodate a family of 4 without adding onto the existing footprint. The new interior includes a new kitchen, new bathrooms and new surfaces throughout. An extensive cabinet package harmoniously ties the interiors together and provides a great amount of storage. Existing textures, like the stone walls and stone fireplaces, were retained and resurfaced for their character. Strategically located fin walls frame views and provide a sequence of experiences. A new roof structure at the front announces the entry and defines the functions of the house.
