Features of Epicurean Kitchen
• Custom designed and built premium grade solid cherry cabinets. There is no particle board in these cabinets; they are all A-1 ¾”plywood boxes.
• Shaker style cabinets have furniture feet and cabinet doors have weighted lower rail for visual effect.
• Kitchen island custom designed with shaker furniture legs
• Honed granite countertop in antique brown, notice how the iridescent blue and gold flakes look when the light shines on them. Elaine particularly likes the “brushwork” look – it has the feeling of an Impressionist painting.
• Original Shaw apron front sink
• Soft close under-mount drawer guides
• Pull out drawers on the left and right side and directly below the cooktop, and in the pantry.
• Lazy Susan’s are made of solid maple.
• Pull-out Grohe faucet
• Bates and Bates porcelain island sink
• Monogram 6 burner gas stove was chosen due to the sealed burners for easy cleaning, the high BTU output and the option on each burner to have a wok.
• Stainless steel backsplash is beautiful and is a cinch to clean
• Full subway tile backsplash is bright, classic and washes up nicely.
