This picture from Yankee Barn Homes, shows the completed porch posts. Other photo of the Sands Point exteriors were taken prior to the porch posts being completed. Notice the porch interior roof is left natural; both in allowing the rafters to show and in color, a nod to the original shingle style architecture.
