Wattage of lights - Do you happen to know the wattage of the two Boyd Emanation lights? We have a small bathroom and wonder if a pair of the 30 watt models will be enough light. Thanks! »
Chr DAUER Architects each 36" fixture has a 21w T-5 fluor. lamp. This was plenty of light at the vanity mirror location, but depending on the size of your "small" bathroom you might consider at least another overhead fixture that would provide general ambient lighting. In this bath we used 3 cube wall fluor. sconces to provide general illumination because of size (length) of room a well as its double duty as a laundry space.
Chr DAUER Architects the tub was original to the existing house, it was in gret shape and only needed repainting on the exterior surfaces,
You can usually find the 5' version of these at building salvage yards, 6' fotoers and beyond are more difficult to come by,
repro's are available at Sunshine Specialties http://www.sunrisespecialty.com among others
Can you tell me what kind of washer and dryer you used? - I love how you combined the bathroom and the laundry room. Can you tell me what kind of washer and dryer you used? Thanks! »
Chr DAUER Architects these were front loading 27" washer and dryer by Miele, but just about any front loading machines can be built-in under a counter, the smaller they are the easier to integrate with the cabinetry. The most difficult part is concealing the washer drain and water supply shut off valve box. In this case we had a small cutout-lift off panel in back portion of the Caesarstone counter.
Chr DAUER Architects The field tile is a running bond glass mosaic "falling water" color:snow in a silk (matte finish)
The niche is also running bond glass mosaic "falling water" color:butterscotch in a natural (semigloss finish)

B. LUX "Q-BO" WALL FIXTURE
Design by Carlos Serra and Antonio Herrero.
btw it uses a (1) 18W G24q2 compact fluorescent lamp
Nice Fixture!!
I would like to know more about this tub and shelf. Can I attach the faucet end to the wall and add a shower? What are the tub's dimensions? Where do I find this tub? I want to position a tub the same way in my bathroom.
Thank you. »
Chr DAUER Architects The outside of the tub was pretty dinged up... even before it was removed from the original bathroom. Our clients took it upon themselves to restore it; they prepped it, metal primed the exterior, and finished with multiple coats of flat black finish paint
Orange Counter on a Half Bath - We are moving into a new home and are going to be updating room by room the one half bath has an orange counter what colors would you suggest we paint the walls after tearing off the hideous wallpaper ...needless to say the house needs alot of updating? »
Could I put up a shower attachment and glass walls to make a shower area? - I have a very similar shaped bath. I was thinking of doing the same with my claw foot tub but with a shower attachment. My window will be a smaller transom window. Could I put glass "walls" between the tub and shower to create a "shower" area? How could you drain this? French drain along the back wall? »
Boyd's fixture wattage are dependent on the length of fixture you choose, see
