Belfer 6215 Halogen Wedge -- a very popular fixture, about $160 ea. These shown are supplied with optional square back-plate (std. is round ?!) and raw aluminum finish. They use 150W halogen bayonet lamps and have a tremendous horizontal throw to illuminate the ceiling across the room.

We used a Fry reglet "Contemporary Reveal"-- http://fryreglet.com/details/reveals/jpg/Page%20G2%20Contemporary%20Reveal%20WEB.jpg -- to form the track, and used some screen door roller hardware (found at the hardware store) to make rollers attached to the back of the panel. Truthfully, it is kind of clunky and binds, and could stand improvement. Our panel is quite lightweight -- a piece of Marrimeko fabric stretched on a frame -- and anything heavier would only be more problemmatic. Of course, we wanted something recessed -- if you could stand something surface - mounted to the face of the wall (easier for an existing wall, of course) I think it would be easier to design something more functional. The panel is a Marimekko fabric stretched on a frame. The track is a Fry reglet adapted for the purpose. It makes a recess in the wall. We fashioned some rollers on the back of the panel from clips and rolling screen door hardware. Reglets are for new construction (new drywall). Sure a surface-mounted solution could be found for existing construction, if drywall were not to be removed.

The house was originally a barn built about 150 years ago. The exposed wood is cedar which was widely available in the area at the time of construction. It's just the natural wood that has been sandblasted -no paint or stain. The decking consists of the original 3" thick planks so nails from the finished wood flooring above don't come through.

While I haven't experienced RAIS woodstoves in person, several architects have raved to me about their function and design. They do have a great modern look.
