We designed the drapery so that the chandelier looks in the middle of the drapery design from the outside, and it looks layered (first you see the white of the drapery and then the light fixture). Since that is the style of this area this is what is accepted and expected. It is always a matter of style. Hope that helps. Tip: when you think about a window treatment, always think about lining. The worst case is when lining consists of different colors. If you have a valance with contrast lining pieces, do the whole lining the color of the contrast pieces, so that the outside does not look cheap. So, to make a long story short always do solid color lining, either colored or ivory. In this case it is ivory and design is such so that there is no need for colored lining to keep this elegant.
