Rhonda Kieson Designs Of all of the vanities that I have designed, this has to be my favorite. And, yes, I can design one to fit your space and have it shipped to you. The vessel sink can be ordered and shipped to you, as well. If there is a granite distributor/fabricator in your area, it might be best to have them template and fabricate the countertop. I will work up an estimate on cost (depending on what size vanity you need), and then add in the shipping costs (depending on where you live). For further information, you can visit my website at www.rhondakiesondesigns.com and contact me via my email address.
Thank you for your interest in my design.
want vessel sink and cabinet exactly as is... - Please tell me where I can find this cabinet and vessel sink. Also, what are the measurements of the cabinet? »
Rhonda Kieson Designs The granite on this vanity is called Prada. This particular piece was "honed," and therefore did not have a glossy finish. Prada is unique in that appears to have twigs embedded in the design, and because of this feature, it lends itself nicely to having a chiseled edge.
Rhonda Kieson Designs To the suttonfamily: The glass mosaic tiles in this powder room do not go wall-to-wall. There is a narrow glass "liner" that coordinates with the tile colors, and it is what finishes the edges. The tile is also what frames the mirror. The tile is set on the wall first, then the opening for the mirror serves as its template. In this particular powder room--which had a 9' ceiling--the tile height was about 5'. We set more tile at the top of the mirror than at the bottom because we used it as the backdrop for the vanity lighting as well. There is one other close-up picture of the vessel sink and faucet. The powder room is one of the smallest I had ever done, which means there is very little room for picture-taking. The quality of its components makes it beautiful in its simplicity.
Rhonda Kieson Designs Allison, the mirror you see here is framed by the glass tile mosaics. The tile is applied to the wall, and then the mirror was measured and made to fit within this tile border. My glass/mirror subcontractors did the measuring, cutting, polishing the edges, and the installation. I chose not to add a beveled edge to the mirror, as it was not needed in this application.
And I will add a word about the glass tile surround: In order to get the transculcent look that is critical to any glass tile, use a white thinset to mount the tile to the wall. I have used a cream/white grout in this powder room to give an added dimension.
As for the chandelier, a three-bulb chandelier would be my choice in this small room. However, in this case, there is a wall-mounted, three-bulb vanity light above this mirror. I allowed for the light fixture to be placed on the glass tiles above the mirror. If you're going to do this, then all the materials and dimensions are needed before you begin your tile work.
Good luck in your endeavor!

Rhonda Kieson Designs This travertine sink is imported by R.A. Magnus and is sold through its distributors. The sink pictured here is 16" x 6" Deep (Outside Dimension). It is also offered in a 13" x 6" Deep O.D. My salesperson, Jan Johnston, is with Morrison Supply here in Oklahoma City, and would be willing to help you with any questions or purchases. As vessel sinks go, this one is a beauty. Good luck with your project.
