What are the dimensions of the corner sink cabinet? - I have a 30" farmhouse sink that I want to use in a corner sink appliction, but I want to minimize the depth of the area behind the sink. This design looks great and does not appear to have a large distance from the back of sink to the corner by the windows Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks »
dwaldner It looks like it could be a 42" recessed diagonal. In that case, the distance between the back of the sink and the corner is about 16"-18". The recessed base will set back about 4" more than a regular diagonal sink base

Sink/Cabinets - Hello! Can you tell me the color of the sink and cabinets? I am trying to figure out if I can do a white sink with off white cabinets. Thanks! »
Dimensions/Placement - What is the length and width of this kitchen? I would like to do somthing similar and my kitchen is 10ft long x 11ft 4 in wide. I am concerned with space for the island. Is the refridgerator placed next to the stove? Thank You »
Advantages of a Corner Kitchen SinkStorage. The modified wedge shape of a cabinet under a corner sink creates ample space to stash cleaning supplies, kitchen gear and other odds and ends, and also allows more room for plumbing pipes. Just be aware that these pluses come with a consideration: If you have heavy countertops such as granite, it's trickier for a corner cabinet to provide the support they need.
Add a sink. A window over the kitchen sink is a popular design move and helps dissipate the drudgery of doing the dishes. Get twice as much view by planning a corner sink that lets you enjoy the sights out two sides of your home. Not sure? Check out this ideabook: Is a Kitchen Corner Sink Right for You?
This is very similar to what we are laying out. I like the beadboard ceiling and the lighting fixtures, the deep corner sink with windows. I like the off-white cabinets with what looks like honed black marble and the orientation of the island vis-a-vis the stove. I do NOT want the microwave over the cooktop, but I will need some upper cabinets on either side of the stove for oils, etc. for cooking. A couple of stools on other side of the island like this is what I want so that people can talk to me while I'm cooking.
