Michael Abrams Limited This room was completed approximately 8 years ago. There was never a chandelier and I can not recall where the sconce came from but it is a beauty.
lperna Michael, I am enjoying these questions, and even more so, the time you are taking to answer each one. Thank-you for sending your design followers in the right direction. Your work is a joy to view. lp
corametivier Lovely! We are in the process of converting our living rm and family rm to one great rm. for watching tv and formal dining. We now have a flat ceiling but will open up the ceiling and haven't decided whether to open up the whole ceiling.....we are considering leaving the family rm area ceiling flat for budget reasons....and seeing this convinces me to do just that as it makes for a more dramatic effect. don't you think?
Thanks for sharing.
1. PaintPainting the walls in updated neutrals and on-trend colors will set your home apart and help home buyers remember each room. Open areas all should be painted the same color — maybe a light griege or muted-down color. You'll want to skip the dark or intense colors in these areas.
