You can save money but still get the built-in look by making the refrigerator cabinet 28-30" deep. In this case, we spec'd a mid-price point Amana SS refrigerator and splurged on a Viking duel fuel range.

Love the fridge. What kind is it and are you able to comfortably open the draws »
Jen Wilson If only that were true! I HAD a kitchen designer but they did not allow for a surround like the one you have done here, claiming "it looks better" to have the sides flush to the counter instead of the fridge. You could see the black side of the fridge on both sides, so I had to insist that they pull out the gables and cabinet on top by about 4"!
Amanda Fossum Design Just about every cabinet maker has a "Shaker" cabinet like this. You should have no problem finding exactly what you're looking for at any of your local cabinet suppliers/designers.
I've included a link to the company I use for cabinets. They have several subtle variations on the "Shaker" cabinet so you'll be sure to find what you're looking for!
Bill Fry Construction - Wm. H. Fry Const. Co. I'm going to guess that it is the 30" Amana since this kitchen is compact and would need to take advantage of every square inch. Note that the 33 runs only about $50 more and both are energy efficient energy star appliances, so you might want to go bigger if you had plenty of room. Two thumbs way up for Boor Bridges to have created a beautiful space while economizing in the right places. The shaker door cabinet style is one of the most affordable door styles. All too often, people invest in plans that are not within the budget. This project is a gem!
this shows a smaller refridge with cabinets above. also like the cabinets to left of refridge which we could do instead of pantry door and pull out below like we have now
