Where is the farmhouse sink from and what size is it? - I like how it is flush with the sink, is it how the cabinets are made or is the sink a little narrower? »
Does anyone know where I can purchase these topiaries in the Toronto area??? - I have been looking all over where to purchase a topiary olive/rosemary/boxwood tree. Can't find any of them anywhere! Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks :) »
I know this gorgeous window is custom, but what are the dimensions? - We are doing a kitchen renovation and we have 9' ceilings. I love how this window draws your eye up, and was wondering how tall it is. We are also installing an apron sink, so I would guess the window width is approx 30-32"... thanks for your help! »
Similar tile??? - Walker Zanger is out of the Mizu subway tile. I'm so bummed!
Does anyone have any idea of something along those lines? We are basically doing the same color combination in our kitchen, but with more of a charcoal stone along the main counter. I would love to find something in a subway shape that has that sort of color variation. We have found a marble tile, but I think it would make it too stark!!! »
6. Kitchens can be tough because they're so function-focused and anything unnecessary can end up looking like clutter. I love these topiaries; they're almost cartoon-like in their anthropomorphic feel, with different heights and haircuts. I've seen rosemary topiary plants as well, and those add a wonderful smell to the kitchen. Potted herbs, a single bud vase, and other things of a simpler nature work in kitchens.
Mary Jo Fiorella has placed three willowy topiaries around this traditional farm-style sink. She recommends Ballard Designs as an online source for similar specimens.

I love the generous trim around the window.
