Several construction changes opened up the kitchen to daylight and space: relocating the powder room, relocating the door and adding a large bay window. The red Bertazzoni range was the inspiration for the colors in the kitchen and the base cabinets were color matched to it. Happy with the Azule Limestone - Could you please comment on how the limestone has held up? We are considering Azule (vintage honed) for our countertops, and I have read many mixed reviews.
Thank you! »
betsyhunter313 Many thanks. We tested unsealed azule with lemon juice and vinegar, which left pretty intense white stains. Is yours sealed, oiled or waxed? If so, what product did you use?
Tracey Stephens Interior Design Inc The installer put their typical sealer on it which helps some, but I don't like using it because even though it is water-based it has formaldehyde in it. I researched some other sealers and found a non-toxic one to test but it when dry it has a sticky shiny look. So, no good solution. Would love to hear one!
