Textured wall - Hello. What is the product used on the walls? I love it! »
can you usea vinyal window in a steam shower or does it need to be metal? - I have a mid century home that has two metal windows, I want to gut the bath and have one of the windows in my stam shower. I want to use reeded glass but the window makers say I can only use vinyal frame. Is this ok? Or do I need to use a metal frame ad rain glass? »
Centennial Renovation Studio You should use a glass squeegee after showering and install Clarvista Glass.
What is Clarvista Glass?
It has a coating, fused to the glass, sealing the glass surface to provide a protective barrier. The coating withstands the high temperatures required to thermally temper (strengthen) glass to meet safety codes for shower enclosures. Which is why, with regular maintenance, shower enclosures built with any of the available varieties of Clarvista glass can keep their "like new" look longer.
From http://www.ppg.com/en/newsroom/news/Pages/20100517.aspx Clarvista Glass is available through Centennial Renovation Studio
We are looking for a short deep drop in tub. We really like the one you used here. Can you send us more information of where we can purchase it? Thanks, Yvonne »
Water drainage from seat? - I've seen this detail a lot on this site, but it looks like there would be no drainage off of the seat if the top of it is just a continuation of the tub deck. Is there a slope ground into the seat to promote drainage and prevent mold/mildew forming in standing puddles? »
