Check out Java from Wood Mode for example. jodi01 Thank you so much for your reply! I really apprecaite you help! We are building a new home and I'm having a hard time finding the right dark stain for my cabinets. The wood we are using is a poplar/maple wood. I will try the Java you suggested. Thanks!!

The kitchen was done in warm woods and granite to blend with the hand-scraped hardwood floors and exposed wooden beams in the ceiling. Matches blue print I currently have. Not crazy about the curved counter space/would prefer it as a straight bar and a large island that can also be used as a seating area. Also, the cabinets are a little dark for me but the layout for the most part is perfect with the combo of family room/kitchen and the angles shown.
