70's Ranch Master Bedroom Remodel. We removed the old sliding doors and closet wall and installed 3 of the Ikea Pax wardrobes and trimmed them out with crown molding.

crown molding - This looks great, we are trying to do a simiar crown molding for our ikea closet. What kind of crown molding did you use? 4 inch? and how is it attached to the closet? Is it just attached to the celing or to the closet as well? Sorry for so many questions. Thank you so much in advance . »
Kimberly Niesz Hi,
I think the crown is 3.5 inch. We first attached a small piece of wood to the top of the wardrobes, and then nailed the crown to that.
Hope that helps. :)
Kimberly Niesz Thanks Paulines 169, :)
We have the Ikea pullout wire baskets in the bottom of each wardrobe. We have our 'most often used' shoes in those and any extra are in the second bedroom closet.
Whole wardrobe? - So did you install three entire wardrobes? Did they happen to fit your space exactly? Doors swing out then, right, not sliding? Thanks. »
Kimberly Niesz Your welcome, Kathleen. And Thank you! We're very happy with how it turned out. It was a great budget-friendly solution for our space. :)
Kathleen I have a angled ceiling that I'll be opening up and these wardrobes have such a furniture look that the open space above will look correct vs. just having a strange interior closet space.
Kimberly Niesz Thanks Pamjoyloo! With the center unit off-set, it does look like they could be sliding panels.
But the hinged doors have worked out really well for us.
