I really like the flower arrangement and would like to do something like that in my foyer. - Can you give some pointers on how I can achieve this in my home? I really appreciate any thoughts / guidance. Thank you :) »
triszam Get a container you like. Glue down blocks of Oasis. Hot glue spagnum moss to it then poke in any artificial flowers you like. A craft store should carry all you need. I use to be a floral designer and you can creat the look for much less than a floral shop would charge.
elichu Great - thanks! I am soon moving into an old Victorian with huge walls. I need a warm neutral, but slightly darker color to jazz these wall up in the entrance. I would like to segue into Bleeker Beige at the top of the stairs and into the upstairs hallways. I wonder if Greenbrier Beige or Bennington Gray would also work instead of Marble Canyon?
Dings and dents. This lovely chest has many dings and dents, but the shiny polished finish keeps it from looking rustic. A great way to camouflage imperfections? Add more dings!
