Paul Anater Based on this photo, I can't make out the material precisely but I can tell you that the tiles aren't hexagons, they're squares. There's too much shine coming off that floor for them to be honed so I'd venture the guess of glazed ceramic.

A window seat is a cool idea for a bathroom. Add a wall mounted swivel mirror and you'll be doing your makeup in great lighting (instead of the car - my favorite place to get good natural light). It's also a night spot to sit, dry off, apply lotion, etc.
