Perched atop a bluff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, this new residence adds a modern twist to the classic Shingle Style. The house is anchored to the land by stone retaining walls made entirely of granite taken from the site during construction. Clad almost entirely in cedar shingles, the house will weather to a classic grey.

Are the fireplaces manufactured (make?) or masonry? Thanks »
Siemasko + Verbridge Thanks for your inquiry! We are so happy you like them. The paneled walls are custom made. The panels rough dimensions on the side of the fireplace going left to right are: 3-1/2", 1'-11", 5", 1'-11", 3-1/2". Top to bottom are: starting with the large panel 4'-4 1/2", 5", 2'-6". Remember it's all about proportion. Hope that helps.
Dining table and design work - Hi there. I really like the dining table....where can I find it? I am in the metrowest area and have looked everywhere for a trestle table where I can also have a bench on one side. Also looking for a desinger to help with a new hosue. Thanks! »
Could you please tell me where you purchased the rug from? - Absolutely love the rug in the dining area. Is this a Chobi style rug and where did you find it? »
7. Swap the layout and have dinner by the fire. If you have an open living-dining room, try flipping your furniture to the opposite side of the room for a change of pace. You can always move it back if the setup doesn't work, but you may get used to having fireside dinners!
