Love the picture groupings. - How can I achieve the same effect? Hire someone? Who would I hire? Is it better to get all of the same kind of frames?
Thanks a lot!

sanderella8 i also love picture grouping. Are these all the same frames and if so are they all custom done or can you get these already made in certain sizes
Can't live with huge red wall please please help - We have a similar lay out to this with slight differences. Our steps, risers, ramp and floor are light natural oak. Spindles are black metal. The stair is curved and opened underneath, e.g.the stair leading to basement can be seen directly under.
Living room at left is BM Delaware putty. Wall at right ( hall) is BM Barely beige and the huge staircase wall is BJ Arroyo red which look very bright because of ample natural light. All advices from houzzers to change to another color are very welcome. Thank you all. »
houssaon Benjamin Moore recommends Rustic Brick 2091-20 or Lapland AF-410 (a soft green) to go with Barely Beige. Other colors to use are Harbor Highlands Tan 1139 and Squirrel Tail 1476 (a grey). These are similar colors recommended for the Deleware Putty, which is very close to Barely beige.
I think I would rather see the hallway wall an entirely different color or the same color as the living room. Having two similar colors so close together might be a bit distracting.
colorblind00 Thank you houzzers for your generous answers. We are renting, and the wall looked brown to me when we visited one rainy evening. I even found it beautiful and honestly complemented the previous renter who happily gave me all these fancy colors'names. I only realise how red it is after we've moved in. I like Harbor highlands tan as Houssaon recommanded. My husband prefers Desert Tan. Since he'll be painting and I'm the one with the color blind gene, it will likely be Desert Tan.
Please scream if you think it will clash. Again thank you for your help.
Abalone BM Paint Question - Cardea Building Co. I have a question my husband and tested the abalone by benjamin moore and spoke with an interior decorator about the color. We all decided it would be a good warm grey to use throughout our house unfortunately, we purchased multiple 5 gallon buckets of this paint and now we are having doubts as our contractor is painting . Looks beautiful in this picture but for some reason it is turning out somewhat with a purple tint right now our contractor is painting our house. Did you have this issue? Also, any recommendations..we are not moved in yet so would the furniture potentially change the c olor a bit or any input on what kind of bulbs we should use more yellow or low white tint, etc? Thank you! »
Cardea Building Co. The flooring is 3/4" thick white oak select. It is a custom stain made from using DuraStain Ebony and DuraStain Walnut. We used 3 coats of waterbased poly in a matte finish.
