Michael Windsor They are tin tiles. Here is Google's first result for "tin backsplash tiles" http://www.americantinceilings.com/backsplash.html

Melissa Thorn Hi...this is my kitchen and the backsplash is actually from Lowes (it's in the kitchen cabinet section in my store) and it's a hard plastic. You can NOT tell it's not tin unless you go up and touch it. My entire backsplash cost a little over $100.00...you can't beat the price for the look you get! :)

Elle Laverne I wish I still had my enamel table with red trim and my old hoosier cabinet with the same kind of top. I still have some of the enamel with red items. coffee pot, kettle, trays, ice box containers, and large containers with lids.
