But if you search "shinto stool" you'll find a wide range and colors, all in this style.

That looks like honed calacatta marble or possibly statuary marble.

It looks like a very light blue-gray like Sherwin Williams' Big Chill.

I would think that the island is custom made to look like a furniture piece due to it's size and perfect fit!
