The beautiful stone on the fireplace is Fond du lac | Cambrian Blend. The corbels are available to purchase from Casa Verde Design. The paint color is a Farrow and Ball paint color - Stoney Ground.

Flooring question - I love this floor. I am trying to match the dark stained oak in our new house. Can you tell me what type of wood and color. »
crissy170 OK guys... I have done lots of my own research! it's either Fond-du-lac Cambrien Blend (but on the website it looks awfully yellow) or Southern Malt cut cobblestone from Glen Gery brick. I ordered samples of the southern malt and it is a VERY close match!
lindahaden - This is my favorite house on all of Houzz! You did an excellent job in creating an upscale cottage look. I'm building a new home. Could you tell me the finish you used on hardware (faucets ,knobs ect ) ? Is the window trim custom or stock? What is the size of baseboard and crown? Having trouble with these little details that I think make a world of difference in a house! Thank you very much for any help at all. »

mommyjoyy I absolutely LOVE these corbels! Haven't seen anything with such clean, classy lines!!! Congrats to you all on such an impressive product! Any chance they come in different sizes? These are too large for my fireplace - but I REALLY love the design!
mchasson I LOVE THESE CORBELS! THEY ARE TOO LARGE FOR MY FIREPLACE, CAN YOU POSSIBLY PROVIDE THE PLANS SO THAT I MAY MAKE THEM SMALLER FOR MYSELF? THANK YOU SO MUCH!
COASTROAD Hearth & Patio Hi Reema - Believe it or not, there are no codes that reference putting a TV over a fireplace. The most important reference in this case is a rare tome entitled "Common Sense and Good Judgement", which is hard to find anywhere.
Kidding aside, there are only restrictions regarding clearances to combustible materials - that is, things that can catch fire - and those can be found in the Residential Building code for masonry fireplaces, or in the installation manuals for manufactured fireplaces.
The area immediately around a good gas fireplace gets up to 200-300 degrees Fahrenheit, and combustible materials are allowed in an area that will still get from 150-200 degrees, which is too hot for a TV.
There are number of good "rules of thumb" to go by, but the first thing to identify is the type of fireplace you are using and what kind of arrangement you would like to use. There are several good discussions here on houzz.com. Search in the box above using the terms Fireplace and TV and you'll find A LOT of advice.

acoric This is for the designer... The stone is chilton, but what is the name of the stone and what brand and color grout did you use. I live in Michigan.
akozak25 What is the height of the hearth? I am trying to determine a height tall enough for people to sit on but not too tall. Any help is greatly appreciated! Right now they have my hearth a little taller than 7". That is too short for me. Thanks! :)
pfinch Linda, I can tell you that the corbels for the mantle are the most beautiful wood, solid, heavy and just stunning. I had Casa Verde's cabinet maker make me a pair of the exact corbels on this mantle....NOTHING is MDF. You will love what you get if you have them made for yourself. Good luck!
Linda Derosa Thank you... I will have to find a good cabinet maker locally (am in the UK) to see if he recreate such majesty! as I would envisage far to heavy and costly to ship the whole thing.. :(
What color mortar did you use on the fireplace? - We have duplicated the fireplace, but I am not happy with the mortar we have selected. (which will probably be a huge job to change). What color was used here? The fireplace looks amazing otherwise! Thank you. »
3. Stunning stone fireplace in Minnesota. Houzz users loved this traditional stone fireplace and contrasting mantel with corbels for the flexible design; it could work well with a different stone or mantel material.
Thanks
