Glenn Robert Lym Architect Three architects who at very interesting understandings of stair rise and run are Eero Saarinen in his grand staircase that runs under the St Louis Arch, and has variable rise and run; Bernard Maybeck who created some wonderful, lo rise stairs that pulled people into his buildings; and Charles W. Moore who created staircase cascades that would flow through outdoor fountains or all the way through some of his larger homes.
