fortsumter The hardest part will be getting a level line around the room. Professionally they would put a cleat along the level line as a nailer for the crown. But really, it isnt a must. If you use a stud finder and a finish nailer you can install the crown with little issue. Depending on the length of the run for the crown, you may need cleats in the middle of the run for support. Hope that helps.
