The clients were looking for a private place to entertain, garden and just relax in their small urban 27'x64' yard. They also wanted patio space for a table. A New York blue stone retaining wall helped level the ground for the matching paver patio which gave the clients the entertaining and dining space they wanted. The pondless water feature, made of New York blue stepping stone, offers a background sound that makes it easy to relax. Bronze fixtures in the home were repeated in the yard. This gave the yard sleek and refined elements of elegance that carry you from the inside out. At night the yard is illuminated to add to the serenity of the yard.

Southview Design Hello, Thanks for asking. The patio was constructed with a paver by Anchor called Aston. The color is called "walnut color" which is a blend of varying colors that were chosen for their match with the bluestone which was used for the wide walk leading into the yard.
Can you recommend a patio landscape artist in or near Appleton, WI? - This design would fit my backyard perfectly but I need someone that can scale it and I would like to use concrete stamping. Can you give me any suggestions? »
Southview Design I confirmed that they are Annabelle Hydrangea. The flowers are yellow due to a late August photo shoot. They usually turn yellow later in the summer. White is their peak color. Hydrangeas are one of my personal favorites because the flowers are so plentiful, clipping them for a vase hardly makes a dent in the shrub. I hope this is helpful! Patti

Clean lines, a place to sit, a patch of green and symmetrical garden beds. The look may be simple, but it's always going to draw you in. And as this yard proves, you don't need a lot of space to achieve it.
