2. Globes. My initial reaction to this picture was, and I'm not kidding: OMG those are globes in the fireplace. I love globes to start with and I think the fireplace display is absolutely unexpected and genius.

Love the tall chocolate brown walls with big bright window, the white ceiling and fireplace. The color splashes of the chairs are great accents! I like the globes, although the mom in me is wondering how long they could possibly stay in that fireplace before they would be rolling around the house.
