The Lunar color sample appears to have a green undertone to it, whereas in this photo it appears grey. - Could you please clarify what the colour looks like in the daylight? Thanks so much. »
A beautiful home! We are about to stucco our home and wonder where the stucco should go down to and where the - parging should begin. We don't have windows on the front either but do have on the left end and at the back, with a garage on the right side.Does the stucco on this home go right down to the ground at the front w/o parging. Also not sure how to handle the slope from our front to the left end wall that has a window.Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. »
Veranda Fine Homes The stucco on this home overhangs the slab by about 1 1/2". We use a true masonry stucco with a 3 coat application - Scratch coat, brown coat and a finish coat.
The foundation beam is exposed and not covered by stucco. We generally dress the beams at the end of the project to make them look clean and fill any voids.
Veranda Fine Homes I am unclear on your question about the wall with the slope and the window. Feel free to send me a picture. SamGraham@VerandaFineHomes.com

Veranda Fine Homes The tall, skinny bushes are the italian cypress.
They come in dwarf and standard sizes and grow very quickly. They can get extremely tall and lots of people use them along fence lines for privacy here in Texas or as accents like we did. I am not sure how they would do in Virginia. You would definately want to talk with a local nursery.

Roof - What is the roof pitch? I know the higher you go, the more expensive...... It looks like the dormer is pretty steep? We love the "drama" of high pitched roofs but not the cost...... This seems to achieve a great balance.
Would love to know the different pitches involved.
Did you wrap the front windows with cast stone or stucco? Would either achieve the same look?
Beautiful home!
Thank you »
