This family/hearth room is used on a daily basis because of the great views paired with a cozy moss rock fireplace. Just off of the kitchen, it becomes a breakfast area as well as a place to congregate after a day of skiing. I love the flooring! - We are pulling up ugly grey tile and putting down hardwood. Are you able to tell me the flooring product used in this project?
Thank You! »
Lynne Barton Bier - Home on the Range Interiors Hi Kellykg, I appreciate your kind comments and am honored that you like our work. Houzz is a fantastic source of inspiration so you have definitely come to the right place for your product ideas!.
The wall treatment we used in the master bath is plaster, so the color pigment is in the plaster itself rather than painted on after the fact. Unfortunately the plasterer we use does not use paint colors for his plaster, but has a formula that he creates for each client, depending on what we are looking for. He does a number of sample boards before we cry "that's it!" Consequently, I can't give you the actual color. Do you have anyone who does plaster there? They might be able to look at the picture and create a few samples for you based on what they see? Sorry I can't be more help on that.
Lynne
kellykg Thank you for the information once again. I will have to do some searching for plasterers in our area. Since I am in the midwest, plaster is not used much with our type of housing. If I can't find someone, may be able to substitute venetian plaster. I wish you continued success designing and I look forward to seeing additional projects on yours on Houzz.
