As a child of the 70's and a pro at scouring flea markets for treasures by the age of 10, I love that nothing matched in our house. Because, every stick of furniture, marbled clock and brighly-painted piece of Hungarian folk art, lovingly packed and carefully carried home from visits with family overseas, had a story behind it.
