Aren't the glasses on the wrong side? »

FOCAL POINT STYLING Hi blevya! I'm no Emily Post and I never studied tablestyling - I just set my tables with what looks & feels right on the table at the time. Sometimes, because of the centerpiece, I've placed glasses as bookends: opposite sides of plate on one side of the table. What I do try to adhere to though is the blade of the knife facing inward toward the plate =) Thanks!! xo

sarvowinner I don't know about Emily Post, but it's customary to place wine glasses above the knife on the right side of the plate. My mother was a stickler and it was great training for when I waitressed.
