I love the idea of adding a simple L-shaped shelf to corners in a home. This adds storage space, shelf space or even dining space. I don't particularly care for the way that this one has been rounded, though, and would personally retain the true L-shape here.
Without legs to get in the way, this wisp of a cafe table can easily accommodate a few stools underneath.

This is a prime example of found space. A floating table turns an unused corner into a two-person seating area. You could easily modify the idea and tuck a similar table into a recessed nook as well.
Think the concave corner presents the only opportunity for transformation? No way. The convex corner proves just as useful with the addition of a small counter and stools, creating a cozy nook for breakfast or coffee.
Outside corners work, too. I love this "Starbucks style" eating area. Not exactly a banquette, but still a clever use of an outside corner to create clever utility space.

The use of interesting shapes in furniture and accessories can interest to an otherwise bland colour scheme. The eye is drawn here to the different shapes of both the funiture and the accessories.
Hummm...Never would have thought of putting a table here, but it works perfectly. I would probably put legs on it to because...When there are children around, elbows are always on the table.
