JOHN-BRYAN HOPKINS I'm the home owner. The refrigerator is a pass-through Traulsen I had it ordered to be used for residential use. Took a little longer. Hope this helps.
colectic thank you very much for the information. could you give me your contact information to order the fridge? i am located in southern california, and cannot find a restaurant supply company that will help me.
Rebekah Zaveloff That countertop does look like walnut, possibly even reclaimed. I'd venture to guess they had it custom made along with the cabinetry. A company called Birger Juell might be able to do something like this, or a custom millworker.
If you don't have room for a walk-in pantry, get as many tall cabinets on one wall as possible.
Tip: Keep tall cabinets together. Using them in multiple locations can have the adverse effect of breaking up a space rather than helping to open it up.
We know this is a kitchen, but only because of the hint of stove. This is a phenomenally well-concealed kitchen, with dark-stained cabinets and an intricate custom hood treatment. The over-scaled dining room in the kitchen tells me lots of fun parties happen here!
Natural daylight with skylights. Introducing natural light doesn't require trading in wall space for windows. Look (up) to skylights for a great way to deliver daylight to your kitchen work surfaces. This kitchen has no lights turned on, and yet the island is beautifully awash with bright natural light.
