Recaptured Charm Hi there
The color used on everything you see, walls and cabinets is Heirloom White by Rustoleum. You can get it in a spray can or in liquid form in a quart. The walls are not glazed, the cabinets are glazed with a glaze I custom mixed. For more info on the entire kitchen reno you can start here with the glazing of the doors http://www.recapturedcharm.com/2010/01/kitchen-chronicles-part-4-glazing.html thanks
Recaptured Charm Hi
I live in Toronto. There are fabric stores here called Fabricland. I purchased this back when I did the kitchen which is now 3 years ago.
Your pretty window seal - Hi could you please tell me How you did your window seal? Is this one piece or did you add moulding to it. Right now mine is just a straight edge and I would really like something like this. Thanks. »
When I think of general-store style, I think of vintage pieces that were once functional and utilitarian, even if they aren't now. A perfect example is a vintage scale. This piece has its own charm, keeping the kitchen from looking too cookie-cutter.
