What color paint and stain were used? - Wow! This looks exactly like I was thinking of doing to my cabinets! Did you put the raised edge on or did they come that way? My doors are flat, I would have to put a thin strip on myself. Sorry if you answered this question somewhere else, but I was wondering what color paint and stain you used? If you have any tips for me they would be greatly appreciated! Awesome job!! »
The doors are MDF and the edges were cut raised. I used Heirloom white (Rust-oelum) for the color and glazed each door with a custom mixed glaze (glazing medium and brown paint).

Beautiful - I just wanted to say that this is just beautiful-and it seems (from what I've read) that you've done most of the work yourself. Congratulations on such a great job. »
Recaptured Charm Thank you so much zzippy.. yes, everything you see except the granite counter top was done by my hubby and myself. It was a long project but well worth it. Thanks for your lovely comment.
Recaptured Charm The stiles and rails are raised from the panel. The dark brown glazing is what gives the impression of grooves. It's just paint and glaze.
