While this is as pink as it gets, the color is calmed and broken up not only by the variation of hues, but by the shapes and patterns throughout.

This room could well be called pretty in pink! The patterned drapes provide a break within the sea of pink and draws your eye to the window. The mix of prints on the drapes and chair, which share a dark raspberry color that is also repeated on the pillows, make this charming design work.

Pink is the colour of thought. It is documented that studying in a pink room helps a person retain information and that you think more clearly surrounded by it. Perhaps this is why girls are so much smarter than boys, although the boy girl thing is mostly a western idea. And I am mostly just kidding. But my high school did paint the interior a lovely shade of Pepto Bismal pink because of this concept and it holds true according to current research apparently.
The pink here is a bit intense for my taste, but I do love this homage to Barbie! The silhouette pillows are fun, and any young girl would enjoy living in this room!
