Who said knots are only for sailing? These nautical knobs add a playful touch to the space, not to mention great texture. You could really have some fun with these in a cottage or seaside home.
There's a whole lot to love about this sleek, nautical bathroom: the ceiling treatment, the light fixtures, the tile and the nifty storage solutions. But would you look at those amazing rope cabinet pulls? They are a whimsical contrast to the more traditional lever handle on the door.
Lever handles are very popular in Europe, and in a way they make more sense physiologically (no wrist twisting). This black one with a rectangular rosette bridges the gap between traditional and modern, like this bathroom. (Also, check out those cool rope pulls on the drawers.)
