Pair of Reclaimed Grey-washed Scaffolding Boards and Galvanised Steel Pipe Benches or Long Low Display or Occasional Tables - Its salvaged vintage industrial design works perfectly in a sophisticated, casual living space.
These benches can be made to measure to your own specifications. The benches pictured here are 180cm wide, 33cm tall and 22cm deep... but the sky's the limit... and I can of course make a table to match (the pair pictured here were created for a client who just wanted benches... but I also make tables like this - https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/161379255/reclaimed-grey-washed-scaffolding-board)
... the piping can be painted.... scaffolding boards could be substituted for reclaimed floor boards, chunky reclaimed timber of any type, toughened glass, sheet metal, wire grills, railway sleepers... whatever you would like... I can source anything and gladly will !
The scaffolding boards pictured in this example were simply brushed down and painted on the top surface only with a watered down grey paint so they retained a gritty raw look but slightly less industrial... anything you choose to use can be distressed or polished up to create any required finish.
The boards could be doubled up to make deeper benches... there really aren't any limits to what I can produce !
Whenever I get the reclaimed scaffolding board it's rarely exactly the same length... it's generally been doctored over the years of use, but I can of course cut it to any required length and age the freshly exposed wood so it matches the rest of the finish... it's generally split, damaged, rough, chipped, stained etc (it's had a colourful life on a building site!), and this is what makes it so interesting, but you can specify any little detail like this you would like left or removed and I can supply it to your exact specifications... I will communicate with you throughout the development of the project as I source the components you might require... I can also get brand new boards without any of the signs of wear and tear.
