Kitchen Addition with Deck

Traditional Kitchen, Baltimore

This was a custom kitchen remodeling project where we replaced the kitchen cabinets with new Bridgewood Custom Cabinetry from the Plainswood Series done with square raised panel with five piece drawer fronts. The new cabinets are done in Maple wood with Biscuit color painted finish with Chocolate color glaze and Cherry wood with Cognac color stain with Plantation color glaze. We installed a new 3 cm thick granite countertop done in New Venetian Gold with Demi Bullnose edge profile along with an under mount stainless steel sink. We also installed a 6x6 ceramic tile set in brick pattern backsplash. The flooring was done in prefinished Bruce strip flooring in Gunstock stain color. Some additional accessories we added were full extension soft close drawer guides, dovetail maple drawer boxes, roll out shelves in base cabinets, door mount pull out double trash bin, puck style Xenon low voltage under cabinet lights. We added decorative crown molding, raised panel wall cabinet ends, raised panel base cabinet ends and fluted pilaster trim details. The existing kitchen and dining area was expanded with an 8’ deep by 22’ wide addition. We recessed the refrigerator into the wall to reduce the protrusion beyond the counter. The window over the sink in the addition area is new and we reset the existing patio door. The existing hardwood flooring was extended into the addition. The professional style gas range and backguard were a central design feature which also included a professional style range hood. A microwave base cabinet allowed for safe access to the counter style microwave for the children.
