i like the color scheme ... white cabinets with vertical line paneling, beige and black speckled countertops and maple hardwood floors, with black accents like stools, etc.

The wide open layout of the kitchen makes this space seem larger than what it really is. Mulitiple work zones are created by making the kitchen completely accessible from all angles.
