This custom bookcase was designed and manufactured by Halifax Cabinetry. The bookcase was precisely measured to custom fit within the space. Library style fronts using multiple drawer fronts in multiple sizes and attached together to open as one door. All doors and drawer fronts are all custom made to suite this project to a "T". A decorative base board or furniture base was used to give the unit it's furniture appeal. The crown moulding is also custom made for this unit and extends out into a small canopy to house the small puck lights that illuminate the bookcase at night creating lovely mood lighting. The rolling ladder was custom made for this project in a solid maple with antique hardware. This unit is 16 feet long and will house many books.
