breaux design group This is hot rolled plate steel, not Cor-TenĀ®. Cor-TenĀ®, a registered trademark from USS, now ISG, is rarely produced anymore. Today, variations of the corrosion resistant alloy is produced under ASTM international standards. We used this material because we had to dodge trees along the property line. As steel lends it self to bending, this material allowed us to weave our way along the property line, effectively saving all the existing trees while providing privacy between the pool and street. Please browse our other photos for more recent and weathered images of this fence.
How far must the steel fence be from tree trunks to prevent overheating/scorching? - I would like to do a steel fence but am concerned that it will harm the young oak trees that will be next to it. »
