do you have a problem with grass getting in the pool »
Samuel H. Williamson Associates We haven't heard any complaints from the homeowners about grass in the pool. I imagine that any bits that end up in the water during mowing are collected by the pool's filtration system.
Samuel H. Williamson Associates No, but the material is "Pebbletec" ("Pebbletek"? "Pebbletech"?, something like that.) Anyway, it's a 3M product installed by some pool companies. The material is stucco with imbedded glass beads for texture and color. Both the glass beads and the stucco can be colored. For this project I think we went with a pretty dark charcoal grey (not blue) in the stucco and, I think green glass beads. We knew that the blue would come from the refraction of the sunlight and reflection of the sky - just like in a pond. My kneejerk preference is for water to be colored the same as natural water bodies near the project ...and my next impulse is to throw a wrench into that expectation. -Sam Williamson
