Custom Home Planning Center If you like the thicker door look and want the wood exterior not to warp you use a standard metal insulated door and laminate the additional wood on either side. The inset panel can be 1/4 plywood. Glazing: the grid can be square stock and add standard moldings to create glass stop on either side. (don't forget to use expanstion block under the glass) The picture is for an over sized 3'6" door which could use a 3'0" metal door as the core and a 6" wide board on the lock side. Note: most metal door blacks can be at a door shop that sell them, a sheet-metal shop, or self cut with a metal cutting blade added to a stand field saw.

Infuse your garden with a lively, free-spirited attitude. I love this "doorway" that connects a garden to its adjacent orchard. Visitors are lured by the idea of exploration — to discover what's hidden just beyond this periwinkle-blue garden door. The journey promises a touch of intrigue, a memorable experience from beginning to end. Use imagination to change the predictable into the poetic. When a garden displays a spontaneous mood, whether by intent or by happenstance, when artistic freedom is encouraged and design rules are broken, we are drawn to the appealing results.
