This Tuscan beauty is a perfect family getaway. A grand entrance flows into an elongated foyer with a stone and wood inlay floor, a box beam ceiling, and an impressive fireplace that lavishly separates the living and dining rooms. The kitchen is built to handle seven children, including copper-hammered countertops intended to age gracefully. The master bath features a celestial window bridge, which continues above a separate tub and shower. Outside, a corridor of perfectly aligned Palladian columns forms a covered portico. The columns support seven cast concrete arches.

Was this the original finish on the fireback? - It looks beautiful. Ours is cast iron and wondering how we should finish it. Thanks! »
The Cons of CopperDiscoloration. This is the flip side of the pretty patina that copper develops. If you're attached to the new-penny look of shiny copper, you'll have to be diligent about resealing. Check out examples of aged copper countertops to determine if or how much you'll still like them years down the road.
The copper countertops are beautiful but take second place to the cabinetry. Even the dishwasher has an overlay panel. Love the color contrast between the upper lighter cabinets and the warm rich color of the lower cabinets. Just unique.
We like the two colors used in these upper and lower cupboards and drawers. If we have room for an island, we would like it to be in the darker color. We also prefer that the upper cabinets are complete with crown molding to cieling height.
